Tiger331 Posted May 22, 2016 Share Posted May 22, 2016 I'm after some advice from Polish Air Force MiG-23 Flogger experts on decals for the 1:48 Trumpeter kit. I am in the fortunate position of having no less than three aftermarket decal sheets dedicated to the Polish Air Force MiG-23s, all from Polish manufacturers (Model Maker, Montex and Techmod), so one would imagine they are all accurate and very similar ?…..No they are not !. The discrepancies are mainly associated with the accuracy of the individual unit markings….for example the triangular 28th Fighter Regiment badge differs between all three decal sheets !. Can anyone confirm which one of these aftermarket sheets is deemed to be the most accurate or is it simply a case of matching them with authentic reference photographs and making the decision myself….which I do not mind doing but it would be helpful to know first if someone else has faced this dilemma.
