This is my entry, perhaps it could be somewhere in Stalingrad, with troops advancing through an industrial sector. With snow and mud.

Here is my proof of kit photo, I will hopefully pick the mini art kit up at the Salisbury model show on the 4th of June. If not then through one of the Model shops in town, I've also got a big pot of woodland scenics snow to add a chill. I'm not going to start this project until I've built my ICM 88, in the Ju 88 GB

Hi Ozzy. I've just been looking at this T-34 kit of yours online and it looks rather good. I see it comes with a rather nice set of photo-etch and a metal barrel. Should be an excellent project! I'm looking forward to seeing this one underway.

Kind regards,

Stix

I've had it on my shelf for about a year waiting for this GB, I got if from Alanmac from the for sale section. I said the same thing when I opened the box, it's got it all I'm looking forward to building it.

Well, I've got the breaking strain of a soggy kitKat. I started with the suspension.

Then moved onto the turret and the upper hull.

Looking into the fighting compartment, with the top off showing the main gun. The metal barrel was a kit part.

With the top on.

I'm not sure when I'm going to add the suspension arms and the road wheels, as I need to get and build the base and put some rubble down. Then I can position the road wheels accordingly, the tracks are individual links which look as though they will work well.

Urghhhh - I have one of those Sarge! Even at the £5 I paid for it I feel ripped off!

On the other hand this build looks fantastic!

Following with interest as I rather like a nice T-34

Thanks Bodmin,

It's one of their early smart kits, when you got all these goodies in the box.

.

You are kidding dude!

Check out what they try to punt on us Braillers these days: http://www.onthewaymodels.com/reviews/Dragon/Dragon_Ken_VK4502V.htm

Wow,

Dragons moulding is certainly different in the Gentlemans scale of 1/72.

Thanks Badger,

I've got two GB's on the go hopefully they will both get finished, the T-34 it a nice easy build with simple to follow instructions ( unlike dragon) my need for super glue for the reaming etch parts has slowed me up. Hopefully find the mini art kit at Salisburys model show next week

A small up date, enjoying the sunshine thought I'd build some dismounts. I use a mixture of dragon and tamiya kits, I think they are both moulded for a later T-34 with external tanks. With the ones that won't fit on I will find a use for them somewhere on the project.

Coming along nicely Ozzy. Difficult so ignore the sunshine and come indoors to build isn't it. I tried to do some in the garden the other day to take advantage of the sun...it just didn't work.

Thanks Bodmin,

I think you need some sort of sun brolly, as I've tried without and it becomes unbearable.

The figures and PE are going to make this something really special!

There is a nice set of PE with the kit, hopefully it will all fit onto the base.

So nice! Really good work so far!

Thanks Roberto, it's going to get better.

A small update, as I've been to busy reading the T 34 book the sarge sent me. I've been doing a little brass work and sticking tie down points on also, I've stuck the road wheels together. I picked this set of mig paints up yesterday, so I'm itching to see what the green looks like. I also ordered the mini art base so should be here soon, then I can position it all out and get the road wheels on.
