Carts
Modelling mojo stalled due to due to taking myself out of my comfort zone with the Tamiya 88 mm gun,So needed a "Fun" project to reinstate said Mojo. Came across this Handsome fella on E-Bay,took a punt and got it for about £20.00 including postage. I actually think this is one of the better Predator models out there, its got a nice stance, reminiscent of the scene in the film when it unmasks. Unusually, for a vinyl kit,it has a fair few parts After a few hours of heating, cutting, applying plasters to thumb,(Ain't got time to bleed) Ended up with this. Thinking about a Jungle base now! whitestar12chris
The two disc predator special edition dvd is worth a watch for the suit worn by peter hall, used this as reference when i built my predator. all the best Chris

spruecutter96
"If you lose your Mojo on this one, you'll be in a whole world of pain..." Sweating Modeller No.1: "You remember Telford on the Saturday?" Perspiring Kit-Builder No.2: "I'm trying to forget!" (Many apologies to the writers of the original dialogue...) Thanks for sharing with us. Carts
Been working on the handsome fellas visage(I think that's how Arnie described it in the film) With a bit of careful cutting I should be able to Swap heads when the mood takes me,the Shoulder Cannon only fits the helmet version. Carts
Cheers HR,Just trying out my "Two Heads are better than one" Concept,I feel it really changes the "Mood" of the model when you compare them side by side(Prefer the snarly one myself) Feels like I'm on the home stretch with this figure now Andy
spruecutter96
Hi, Andy. Mr. P is a genuine tribute to your building & painting skills, Sir! I like both versions, but having him snarling / letting out a hunting-scream is the cherry on the cake. I had this kit about two years ago, but sold it in the Telford Kit Swap.... kinda thinking I made a bad choice, now I've seen yours! Thanks for sharing with us. Carts
Thanks for the feedback all, Looks like the Jungle is,indeed, coming alive. A combination of air drying clay, cheap aquatic plastic plants and a few handfuls of various dried herbs from the spice rack.............So a fairly bland tea for me today!
