tomfomes
Hi all, back to modelling after long time. I was inspired and motivated to do some motorcycle as I'm a big fan. This kit is unbelievable detailed and accurate, I recommend it highly! Next project is the Tamiya 1/12 Honda RC213V.

vontrips
Lovely job! You've made me dive into my kit box again! Can I ask; what paint did you use for the gold case covers. Just tried the recommended Tamiya mix and it looks well wrong. My paints are old though. Also, do you think the fairing sides would stay on with mini magnets? Those Tamiya screws bug me, but it will be the only thing I change on this one!

Thank you all for nice comments For the gold case covers I used the recommended tamiya paints, maybe I did a slightly different ratio (less gold paint or something, I don't remember now). Regarding the mini magnets I am not quite sure. Maybe the fairings wouldn't fit perfectly, but it is definitely a challenge and I think it's possible. Sarcococca
Wow, incredible nice, bombastic.......that is so inspiring. Thx for so many pictures of such an beautyfull model. Paintfinish and assembling is clean and of high quality. And as can seen with all the attention on details and a perfect carbon decal handling, your dexterity is stunning. Thx for sharing Dirk

sailorboy61
Fab. Have two waiting for me to pick up the courage, one a trial, the other with the full Hobby design add-on, both probably well out of my capability lol

modelman182
Aww, man... don't you know that taking Showroom photos and Photoshopping them to present them as a model is just WRONG! Seriously, though - that is a stunning bit of work. And a great series of photos, too! Well done that man! Kev
airea
Great model of a great bike! I have recently completed one with hobbydesign detail set. It is shame that a lot of nice detail is unseen under the side covers...

tomfomes
Thank you all for nice comments! Absolutely wonderful. How did you manage to get the red transfers onto the wheel rims so perfectly? I used Micro Set/Micro Sol for the decal and when it was dry I painted a Tamiya acrylic semi-gloss clear paint over it. Tomas
