Academy 1/72 P-39N: 1-Day Build!

Recommended Posts

Yesterday Mark suggested a 24-hour build to honour Mike (site owner)'s birthday. How could I resist?

What you are about to see is a timestamped progress of the build, completed in just over 12 hours today.

We start with the kit bagged in the box.

I'd recommend trying this if you have a clear day, really gives you a buzz when it's finished!

All the best,

Thank you very much Stew Rob and Steve.

I'd always believed Academy decals were unusable!

These were very nice, bit thick but sat down very well, no silvering or cracking. I'd recommend the kit, not one bit of putty required. Whether it'd convince the P-39 experts I don't know, but it was a perfect kit for a rush job like this!
