exdraken
nice project! I am using part of the PJ set for my build sure it will work out
Colin W
Excellent. I was so enthusiastic for this I bought it, then lost it in the stash and bought it again. Still not got round to it though and have never seen it done so looking forward to see this finished. Colin
Col.
Welcome to the GB with a great choice of subject. I'm particularly interested to see if PJ have covered the different instrument panel used in the FR.
ForestFan
Hi Col, here's a pic of the panel, I have no idea if it's accurate! Untitled by bryn robinson, on Flickr

ForestFan
Right then a few pics of where I'm at. To be honest I have struggled with this, my main fault being the replacement tail end, it was slightly smaller in diameter to the rest of the fuselage so I've had to fill and send as best as I could. It's still got a bit of a banana look to it (maybe I should convert it in to a Buccaneer lol!) but it's the best I can do. Col.
Certainly looks like a Hunter now Remember there's no metal frame at the rear edge of the canopy though

ForestFan
Here's the current state of play, with my build speed I'm not sure I will get her finished in time...Untitled by bryn robinson, on Flickr
Col.
Good to see this one getting her colours on now. Hope you get finished on time but no point rushing if it risks spoiling all the hard work you've put in so far.
Low flyer
Watch for that narrow Tamiya tape it tends to lift and let paint bleed through

Col.
Looking good and starting to take on her identity with the decals Bryn. Please don't rush if there's a risk of spoiling such a lovely model at this stage.
PhantomBigStu
See your gallery post, don't need to paint the lumps RAF roundel blue, the fr10 did not have them
ForestFan
Thanks! I may need to fill n paint a couple of little holes then!!
PhantomBigStu
I had the same problem, though I found one paint I had in my rack when glossed over was a good match for the blue in my particular brand of roundels, might be ok for yours. Revell Aqua Matt blue was what I used
