Farnarkle Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Hello All, This one has had a very tortuous existence, nearly binned twice, consigned to the shelf of doom twice. Had all sorts of issues with this particular build. Fit issues with a step in the nose. paint issues with paint de-naturing in the airbrush so that dark earth evolved a strange pinkish hue..... grrrrrrr. It was only due to me needing to familiarise and experiment with a new airbrush that she survived and eventually completed. Thanks for looking and happy modelling Ian 28
Meatbox8 Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 One of my favourite marks of Spit in one of my favourite schemes. Whatever travails you had during the build you've produced and super model with a great finish.
Learstang Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Beautiful! One I have built but just need to paint - I hope it comes out nearly as nicely as yours. Regards, Jason
Cookenbacher Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Glad you stuck with it, the result was well worth it.
Beard Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 The end result was worth the effort. She looks really smart.
Mr Modeller Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Very nice Farnakle, she looks great to me and well done you for sticking with it, even though it tried desperately to avoid completion - I'm glad that you dragged it across the finish line in the end!! Well done!! Kev
Natter Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Well done for not giving up. The finished model looks great.
rob85 Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Good job you needed to try out your new airbrush.... It would appear you are very good with it Rob
