C-54D & C-54G Skymaster

Hi peeps

I'm thinking of building the Revell C-54 Skymaster but I prefer to build it in different markings, I've found an awesome camo decal set but its for the C-54G.

Now my understanding the main difference between the two is fuel tanks and engines, but trying to look around I'm trying to look for visual differences or is the air frame exactly the same.

Any specialists in the area?

I equally am unsure of the differences. But in the 1/72nd Revell kit are different upper nacelle intakes for the engines and different main wheels among other optional parts.
