This was used as a the primary trailer for the USAAF, USN and RCAF. It was a conventional biplane of rugged construction with large, fixed tailwheel undercarriage, and accommodation for the student and instructor in open tandem cockpits. This new sheet from ILIAD allows for 5 different aircraft can be built from the sheet; PT-17 4th British Flight Training School, Mesa, Arizona earl 1940. PT-17, S/N 216546, Kunming, China 1943. N2S-3 (USN PT-17) S/N 39123. California 1944. N2S-4 USN S/N 29950, Michigan, 1942. PT-27 (RCAF PT-17) FJ888 of 36 EFTS, Pearce, Alberta 1942. The decals look excellent, well printed, colour dense and with minimal carrier film.Conclusion These decals will help the modeller make a good looking PT-17. Highly Recommended.
