Ed Russell
Here's my Azur 1/72 Avro Rota..... The model is based on this picture which was identified as 'possibly K4239' of 5 RMU. There's a build thread here http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234999409-avro-rota-529-radar-calibration-sqn-5-rmu-1448-rc-flt/ And here it is on a 'representative' base with a couple of figures for scale. It really is a small model even in 1/72. Thanks for looking. It was such fun I'm going to do an Aeronavale one.
CedB
Very interesting WiP and a great result - good job! It is tiny isn't it
Michal @ MKM
Nice indeed, Ed. pretty well captures the subject! However, the Aeronavale one (if you intend to build the LeO.30) would require more work, either using Azur kit or RS Model as a basis!
Mr Modeller
Superb build Ed, can't remember the last time I saw one of these in model form, you've done a cracking job and the base just sets it off nicely - very well done!! Kev:)

Ed Russell
Thanks for the comments if you intend to build the LeO.30) would require more work, either using Azur kit or RS Model as a basis! Indeed it would. As a minimum, changing the engine, door(s) and propeller is on the list. I really like that, and shall have to track one down. They are extremely rare but there is a new RS Models kit available which looks very similar.
Meatbox8
Looks great, especially considering its size. A very interesting and characterful subject beautifully rendered.
