As a result of the close-down of the UK by the British Government last night, we have made all the Buy/Sell areas read-only until we open back up again, so please have a look at the announcement linked here.

USAFline is a new company formed by two members of the USAF Special Interest Group of IPMS UK. Chris St Clair & Haydn Hughes were looking for items for their own use, and when they could not find them they decided to make their own. Now comes a bigger step in making them for sale.

to quote their website: https://www.usafline.com/

USAFline is a small business dedicated to bringing interesting and useful USAF subjects to the market that have so far been overlooked by mainstream manufacturers. To this end we provide research help to niche manufacturers but also commission our own range of products from expert producers as well as using our own in-house design and mastering skills. We are currently developing products in two main areas - models of air base structures and vehicles and generic decals. The air base structures and vehicles range includes revetment walls in 1/72, 1/48 and 1/144 scale and the Oshkosh P-19 ARFF Crash truck. Models in this range are mainly resin but may also comprise cast and etched metal parts as necessary. Silk screen printed decals are included where appropriate. The generic decals line starts with a sheet of 1/72 F-16 sized grey tail codes and serials. This will expand to cover black, white and camouflage grey tail codes and serials in 1/72 and 1/48 to cover all the options that have been used.

The three products currently available are the 12' "fighter-style" revetments in 1/72, 16' "large aircraft" revetments (also in 1/72 although were having more produced) and the first 1/72 sheet which covers tail codes and numbers for F-16s in 1/72.

The next product to be released is the P-19 ARFF crash truck, they are waiting on the decals for; and it should be out in May. To be followed by the next couple of decal sheets, probably 24" tail codes and numbers for 1/72 aircraft in a couple of colors, and then (potentially) revetments in 1/48 and 1/144.

Reviews of the decals and 1/72 revetments to follow as soon as I can get them out.

I would like to wish Chris & Haydn the best going forward with this.
