Selwyn
Currently building the resin Wespe models Mack NR5 truck for a litle project I am doing. Building a small scale (1/72) softskin is a first for me, and I am trying to work out the best way to correctly cut to size and fit the windscreen from the sheet of acetate that is provided in the kit. Can anyone out there give me any good hints and tips as to how to do this, and maybe suggest a good adhesive to use? Selwyn

Mancunian airman
If possible I would suggest you firmly press some Tamiya tape behind the actual front windscreen. Either cut out with scissors then place onto clear acetate or put the tape behind the acetate and mark it out with sharp knife. I like to used PVA glue to fix as it drys clear. Good luck with the build, I shall look forward to seeing it as I do love a nice 'Softskin'
Mike
Try an interim step to Mancunian Airman's advice and put the tape onto a scrap piece of styrene sheet, cut it to shape, test fit it and adjust as necessary, then use that as an accurate template that is less likely to stretch or move to cut your acetate sheet from. If you screw it up, just pick up some more acetate cheaply off eBay or at a stationer's
