Jurek Greinert
Typical Czech short run from the CzechModels of basic resins with TrueDetails. Unfortunately, the latter did not even come close to the quality of Czech products. I added a little PE in style belts and other smalls. Model possible to glue beyond difficult surroundings engines. The challenge is canopy glued with 3 elements. It has a few bugs in the style of the lack of windows and the hatch on the roof of the cab, plus the location of the guns vs whell bay but ...... well, better not. Painting from Korea VMF (N) -513 1952. Generally Skyknighty after entering the service were sent to protect the B-29. None of them had already been shot down. For me about the unit "513" has been finished. All the models had to keep a consistent weatering convention . I invite you. Shar2
Very nice build. Can I ask how you got that dusty look? It really helps tone down the overall blackness, I've got an Encore version in the stash and hope it comes out as well as yours.

Nachtwulf
Wow! Nice job! all three of those look fantastic! Apart from the wings the Skyknight always reminded me of something Gerry Anderson would have designed for a submarine. Great work!

Hi, generally on a gloss black base airbrush and shaded different versions of black, graphite, tyre black, nato black and very dark gray. Then decals, wash, flat clear and some weathering. Finally dead matt from Humbrol. Wow! Nice job! all three of those look fantastic! Apart from the wings the Skyknight always reminded me of something Gerry Anderson would have designed for a submarine. Great work! Yeap looks like a submarine, or like a glider with a engines under the armpits

Mr Modeller
That is a fabulous build Jurek, these matt black airframes are not easy things on which to bring the surface detail out, but you've managed to get it just right. I like the contrasting clarity of your cockpit glazing and the aluminium framework as well, it really offsets the black airframe? I've always liked the U.S. scheme of black with red markings from the Korean campaign and your collection of the three aircraft looks stunning together - very well done indeed!! :tasty: Kev
