Navy Bird
Nice work - I love the more unusual camouflage schemes. Plus, what's not to like about a twin boom de Havilland? Cheers, Bill
Mountain goat
Excellent stuff Jay. Keep building them like that and I'll keep coming back for more ! Roger! haven´t seen that before as a model, nice work, good to see a different scheme Thank you Reini! Lovely looking Vampire there I have another one of these in the stash and you've got me looking for camo schemes now Keep 'em coming Thanks - quite a lot were camouflaged apparently - some nice desert schemes out there. Amazing job and a nice to see a different scheme from the more common trainer/preservation variants. Thank you - speaking of preserved Vampires - I'd like to do a very worn half-forgotten relic one day. Nice work - I love the more unusual camouflage schemes. Plus, what's not to like about a twin boom de Havilland? Cheers, Bill Cheers Bill! And I agree heartily on the twin boom de Havilland comment. Stu
Excellent work Jay, puts my half done effort to shame. Can I ask if you used the kits seats ? Stu
Mountain goat
Can I ask if you used the kits seats ? Stu Hi Stu, thank you very much, I'm humbled. Regarding the seats; yes I have - I had wanted to use the Pavla seats initially but I couldn't get them to fit in without important parts somewhere getting filed away or damaged. So I went back to the kit seats instead -though I'm afraid any in-progress pics of the seats are quite worthless. (As the Pavla seats look more like the Martin Baker 3H than the Vampire's older variant -at least to my to my eye-, I think I will use them for Hunters instead.)
