Hardtarget
So I thought what shall I do and then I saw a post on here for a T.7. I thought why not do the aircraft we recently lost at the airshow I attended and saw first hand what had happened. Seeing as she was a scheme within the Xtrakit it was a no brainer really. So this will be a tribute to the aircraft which no way mean lesser focus on the loss of life. Ive built one before so I'm aware of here shortcomings and therefore will add the U/C improvement set by Colin. Ill support here with a Revell FGR9 and a F.6. Col.
Welcome to the GB Stuart. A fitting tribute to the aircraft involved in the Shoreham incident and I'm sure you will do a great job on all of these.

Hardtarget
Well it seems like its been a while which is down to me not posting the work that has been done. Anyway back to the build. As we know with this kit it requires a bit of work and mating the fuselage to the tub is not different. Plenty of fettling and sanding of the tub is required. DSC_0002 (1) by stuart wellard, on Flickr Then the wings oh the notorious wings that are a bundle of joy. Nimrod got thee in the end but with experience of this kits failures I managed to get it worte from the off. SO a bit of sanding, cutting, sanding, cutting and we get the wings the right shape. DSC_0003 (1) by stuart wellard, on Flickr Wings mated tot he fuselage, filling those gaps that have been created. DSC_0005 (1) by stuart wellard, on Flickr Ive showed how the wings should look after the hard graft. First the intake end. DSC_0008 (1) by stuart wellard, on Flickr and the rear. DSC_0009 (1) by stuart wellard, on Flickr Next was the priming of her and glazing applied. DSC_0035 by stuart wellard, on Flickr That bag of plastic set aside, the beautiful revell more than makes up for it. I had no such issues with the tub when mating the fuselages halves together. DSC_0001 (1) by stuart wellard, on Flickr Nor the wings that literally fell into place. DSC_0006 (1) by stuart wellard, on Flickr Finished with a side by side view prior to priming. DSC_0007 (1) by stuart wellard, on Flickr Then yesterday I got the DSG on both. DSC_0036 by stuart wellard, on Flickr And now ready for the Dk Grn. nimrod54
They are both look fantastic in their Grey/ Dark Green camo and you definitely made a better job with the wing alignment on the T.7 than I did. Keep up the good work.
