Dads203
Thing is they look so damned neat and tidy.....When I struggle with stuff it never finishes up looking like that! Liquid solder and a good fibre glass pencil for clean up, it will transform your PE work fella. Don't be afraid to give it a try Dan
Wogga
I Couldn't think of anything else better to do at Bulford Dan so I don't blame you painting figures. Bulford is definitely a pimple on the worlds bottom.
Gremlin56
Just keeps getting better. I have very carefully avoided soldering PE so far but your build might just pull me over the line
BigMouthStrikesAgain
Great build and excellent figure painting. I love this beast, can't wait for the big Trumpy kit to arrive
Dads203
Cheers People for the great feedback So a little light scratch building on the MG mount, just to get away from PE work for a while, it was missing a few details so I set out to improve the basic kit item. A crank handle was fabricated from plastic card, rod and some carbon fibre. I need to make another locking handle yet for the top clamp. And fitted, not sure on the PE belt so I reserve the right to swap it out for a drum mag later on the build. It still need bending and curving a bit more to get it to drape a bit more natural. Sgt.Squarehead
I think the looks of the ammo belt will improve with a lick of paint.

Dads203
Cheers Chaps So a bit more progress, detailing the jack, just a few missing details added like handles. Swapped out the Standard dragon clamps and added these nice brass RBM late war German Items, now the same as the front shackles. Last clamp assed to AA gun mount. Just needs a bit more tidying I've also removed the moulded hinge detail for the rear mud guards so I'm now ready to add the PE versions once they are complete. Cheers for looking Dan
Dads203
After seeing Julian's Tetra Fire extinguisher on his 1/16 PZ IV build he reminded me that I had a set of decals in 35th scale so I set about in scratch building a Tetra extinguisher from plastic card and rod. I added the handles from the Eduard PE set, Simple And the decals Enjoy Dan

Dads203
Cheers Si Tetra fire extinguisher test fitted. Perfect Started work on the jacking block, removed all the moulded detail and added the wood grain with a pin and scriber. Not the best photo but its not much really, loads of PE parts to add to it yet anyway. Dan
