Robotics
Hello lads, It has been a while since my last post here, bought myself a house in the meantime and this took some time. Two Christmases ago I started this project and off and on I finished it when I found the time. I even took it along on my holiday to Sweden where I riveted the entire beast. I have built it with an Eduard PE set, Quickboost intakes, a Master pitot tube and a Legend electronics bay. I sanded the whole thing down and rescribed the panellines and added the rivets by using photo's from walkarounds I found on the interwebs. This has been a very tedious and long process but I am pleased with the result. The paints I have used are Gunze and AcladII. 'nough said, here she is; A HUGE thanks goes out to my friend René (HartDeco) for making these wonderful pictures. Be well! Jeroen

Robotics
Thanks a lot all of you, for the nice comments!! Highly appreciated! That is one serious and beguiling piece of work Jeroen. Great to see it here.As a novice to scribing, may I ask what process you used to do the riveting you mentioned?Lovely work.Tony Hello Tony, I first measure the lines out with a measuring tool and mark them with a pencil. After that I use "Rosie the Riveter" riveting tool and run this freehand over the pencil lines. I use the 0.75 mm and the 1.00 mm tools. After that I pierce every rivet with a piercer and then sand everything level. After that I make the surface wet and scrub it with a toothbrush and then, once again I pierce all the holes again till I am satisfied with the result. I hope this clarifies somewhat.
