russ c
Hi Everyone, Just finished the missing Mohawk from my collection, so I thought I`d share some pic`s Rodens 1/48 OV-1B Mohawk with the SLAR Completed in the markings of the 131st Aviation Company, U.S. Army, Phu Bai, Vietnam, 1967 Built almost completely OOB With just seat belts, aerial wires added and a few bits of wire here and there. Decals are the kits and I still had a bit of silvering to paint round Hope you enjoy, thanks for looking Cheers Russ

russ c
Another beautiful model!!! Congrats! This must be quite a big plane in 1/48. I really enjoy it! JR Cheers Jean, Glad you like it. It`s about the same size as a Skyraider, so not too big
russ c
Nice work Russ, did you make the revetments from scratch? Rod Thanks Rod, The revetments came from a couple of Vietnam Backdrops by Noys Minatures. Unfortunately they`re a bit too small for anything larger than a Bearcat or a Skyraider at a push, so I chopped the revetments off and stuck them on some plastic sheet to use separately.
stevej60
Excellent build and finish Russ,a very interesting aircraft I know I built one in 1/72 scale many years ago I can only think Hasegawa as my LMS used to stock the range.

Rich G
Really nice build, the tonal variation in the paint scheme really makes it pop with realism given the age of the kit. I also love any Nam era aircraft, and you don't see well made mohawks everyday! Rich

Maxidad
That's a gorgeous build. I rarely build post WW2 a/c, but I have one of these in my stash 'cos it just looks so interesting. Can't wait to build it; doubt it'll look as good as yours.

Angels49
That is one very very fine build, don't laugh lads, but this one and the A-6 remind me of "Mothra" of Godzilla fame...especially this one with the way the front fuselage is designed.
