Most likely because their limited edition "MiG-21MF/bis in the Indian service" didn't sell well. It was released in 2012 and I saw it in their stockhouse even three years later, which is not very usual for a limited edition kit. Or at least Eduard limited editon kit :)

Maybe because they picked the wrong Indian MiG-21's...

the  FL (ie early PFM) saw service not only with India, but various Arab airforces during the 6 day war/War of Attrition ...  they do the Mirage IIIc,  so I'd have thought an Arab MiG's boxing would make sense.

for those browsing, and curious  I recommend this link for an overview of the MiG-21 family

http://www.mig-21.de/english/technicaldataversions.htm

But then how much sense do Eduard make,   as they have ignored doing the first generation MiG-21's (even though they were built in Czechslovakia) and the two seaters...

plus the first generation would allow some of the Chinese family to be done,   which have lots of exotic marking possibilites IIRC.

It was the july one. But they must have replaced/renamed it.

Maybe because we are not distributors?

New kits for july:

- MiG-21MF Royal Class Edition (two kits) 1/72

- SE.5A Night Fighter ProfiPack 1/48

- Bf 109G-2 Weekend Editioin 1/48

first new-tool late variant Fw 190s (biggest sellers of the 'old' Fw 190 family), here in a Dual Combo Defence of the Reich box

Yeah with their recent (2016) new tool  109g6.

The best of both worlds.

Perhaps trying to get 190 fans to try their 109? If they hadn’t already done so.

although never met someone who only likes one of those two? 190/109.

Tony.

And ...

For october

https://www.eduard.com/store/out/media/distributors/leaflet/leaflet2018-10.pdf

Avia Avia S-99/C-10 in 1/48 (Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 of the WNF production)

Nice nugget here. An Avia S-199 in 2020.

"Most the Czechoslovak Messerschmitt were then famous Avia S-199s, converted from G-10s using the JUMO engine. We are going to release extra S-199 kit in several fashions some 2 years later."
