The reissue of the 1/72 scale Hellcat is indeed good news. I am looking forward to the re-release of Eduards 1/72 Spitfires.

Thats' putting it mildly. It seems the revolution has run out of steam.

Well, they did have a massive warehouse fire that's thrown a bit of a spanner in the works.

Thanks for posting this update.

I am quite interested to see what Eduard can do with the A6M2, but on first look it appears they have dropped the ball with the tail wheel. A small detail, but my understanding is the ‘leg’ was usually encased in a canvas cover. The brassin replacement lacks this detail, as have all other kits that I have seen to date. Hopefully the kit gets this little detail correct, but the brassin set suggests not.

Have we stopped getting the distributors links? That was always good to see what was coming a few months down the line

Not quite the leg being encased, look here:

https://j-aircraft.com/research/ryan/tailwheel/tail_wheel_well_cover_on_the_a6m.htm

A canvas cover was attached to the legs at the two strips that are on the resin bits.

Most of the canvas is behind/above the actual wheel and attached to the wheel well edges

I was going to say I don't need another MiG-15 ... but who I am kidding?!!!!

Yes, these are really welcome! They were quite hard to come by lately.

Now, bring back the 1/72nd Bf 110's. :D

Cheers,

Andre

Oh dear, fatally flawed it is then. Recall and destroy all copies of this kit ;)

January is looking like it's going to be an expensive month!!

Not for us 1/72nd folks Eduardwise, although I can see myself getting a few MiG-15's.

Cheers,

Andre

Well, it does specifically state "German Air Force" in the description.

The PDF linked to by Homebee confirms this - five German options.

Cheers,

Andre

Love the Camel.

I'm very glad to see a second release of it. Let's just hope they fix the decals in this boxing. Not having an opaque backing layer under the cockades in the first release was sub-optimum, which I know from a couple of friends who have already built theirs.
