1/72 Kawasaki T-4 Blue Impulse by Doyusha

Their Blue Impulse Sabre and other 1/72 kits are reboxed from Hobby Boss but this render looks like new tool.

Odd that they would release this when Hasegawa has already done so multiple times. A new tool JASDF Fuji T-1 would have been better.

We can live in hope for a new T-1

There is also the possibility that this is a pre-finished model - Doyusha haven't released a new-tool kit in a long while AFIAK.

Cheers!

That is what the Japanese says: "pre-painted finished model/new tool".

Hobby boss display model sold within Japan by Doyusha in other words. They are basically just an importer, they don't actually make much of anything themselves now.

Doyusha F-86 is reboxed Hobby Boss, but not prepainted.

T-4 can be reboxed Hasegawa. But Doyusha show 3D render in catalogue.

And 3000 JPY is low price for prepainted model when cheap ex-Easy Models are for 2500 JPY.

T-4 can be reboxed Hasegawa.

No it cannot, Hasegawa is not going to hand over one of their kits to another company in their own home market. Japanese companies do not cross-box each others kits.

Besides which, as I said above, the illustration says "new tool" and "prepainted completed model". It is a Chinese product, just like all the WW2 fighters shown in the same image.

Doyusha is adding to their line of fantastically detailed pre-built and pre-painted kits with the P-51B Mustang, Focke-Wulf Fw190A-8, T-6G Texan, F2A Buffalo, and T-4 Blue Impulse, all in 1/72 scale! All five aircraft and more were on display at the show.

are photos from Shizouka show Doyusha display stand?
