Hockeyboy76
Just grabbing my place, I have a plan & its ambitious for me.Anyway that's enough of a teaser, I still have to finish a Pegasus engine for the Made in Great Britain GB, then a 1/144 Wessex in the Helicopter GB & a Hunter for that GB (still waiting on a kit). So not much to do. Edited July 31, 2016 by Hockeyboy76

Hockeyboy76
Who had these on their bedroom wall? (all images from google,) Or maybe one of these? And saving the best till last I aim to recreate this Harrier firing its rockets over the range. Artistic licence will be used as to the aircraft's number & Sqn. Any way on with the kit & the goodies to go with it. Edited April 17, 2016 by Hockeyboy76
Col.
Excellent! The first and third poster I remember very well and look forward to seeing you realise this one of the Harrier. I might even steal your ideas

whitestar12chris
Id agree the Lambo is a model, the give away are the lights in the bumper, having perused through some Lambo porn havent found a single car with bumper lights that look like that. Sorry i digress, the Harrier in this pose would look really cool. All the best Chris
phildagreek
I had the Harrier and the tennis player but my favourite was one of the the (then) recently retired Ark Royal with Phantoms & Buccs lined up, taken from just above flight deck level whilst she was under way, fantastic photo. I think I might have got it via the RN recruiting office via the Sea Cadets.

Hockeyboy76
Canopy masks have just arrived. After long through the kit I'm short of two rocket pods. Time to delve into the stash to see if I've got anymore.

Dazzio
And saving the best till last Funny you should put this one up, look what I found while going through a few things. I am pretty sure this is actually older than I am! The magazine I found it in was called "War Machine" (incase you couldn't gather from the red writing) and it belonged to my gf's old man. He gave me the magazines about two weeks ago because he knows I'm "into that kinda junk". Anyhow, there was this poster sitting in the middle of it in all it's glory. Never been used for its intended purpose. Hockeyboy, I will be watching this build with a keen eye. I have a GR3 (both new and old versions) sitting around. So it will be nice to see what can come from this new kit. Kind Regards, Dazz
Hockeyboy76
Cheers guys. Col, I found some in a new Harrier GR1 kit, but if I make a mess & will come with cap in hand. Dazz, nice to see one of these posters surviving. Hope to do the poster justice. Edited April 23, 2016 by Hockeyboy76

Hockeyboy76
Little progress today. Seat glued, ejector pin marks filled in the cockpit centre then primed ready for paint. Photos to follow.
Hockeyboy76
Apologies for the lack of photos. Little more progress today, cockpit sidewalls painted & PE added. Pilot Glued to seat & awaiting paint. Unsure if it is Flt Lt Hugh Jardon or Sqn Ldr 'Tes' Tickle (after all, it is the 80s) The distructions call for Dark grey intakes up to the Pegasus, always thought they were white. Anyone know for sure? Will do photos tomorrow after the F1.

Hockeyboy76
Sqn Ldr 'Tes' Tickle is secured in his office, photos to follow. On the question of Harrier intake colour, I happened to trip over a slightly worse for wear GR3 in our hanger on Friday. Turns out they are Dark grey. Paint has been applied. Hockeyboy76
Cheeky! I always liked this one Anyway on with the build update Fan painted & weathered Airbrake & housing painted Sqn Ldr 'Tes' Tickle in his office. Belts made from Tamiya Tape. In typical Airfix style, he is flying using the Force. Hands are overated! Intakes on, ready to be buttoned up! Thanks for looking.
