theplasticsurgeon
Joining you with this fine offering from Revell The box has been crushed under my stash - so I hope there's no damage to the parts. This looks like a 1989 Revell boxing of the Italeri kit, with 2 offering for 1988 Tornados. One bears an uncanny resemblance to a Matchbox model I built - ruling that option out. The other is the boxart 11 Squadron scheme. Kit still sealed in its bag, has the Ebay sale printout of my purchase. Cost me 1.50 plus 2.75P&P so grand total of 4.25 - on 25 April 2005. I was the only bidder. Anyway I've got an Apache to complete in the Helicopter GB, before this one starts. Col.
Good to see a Tornado F.3 in the GB as this was the RAF first line of defence from those hoards of Russian bombers and certainly busy on QRA duties during the latter half of the 80s.
theplasticsurgeon
Joining for an immediate scramble - here are the parts. This option, 11 Squadron - 1988/89. Well it's a 1989 kit Normally I'd show a few photos of other previous builds at this point. Eligable and related. However one Matchbox Tornado is MIA in the loft - not seen in years. My Airfix F3 was the 1990 airshow plane - never actually seen armed in that livery. Edited April 16, 2016 by theplasticsurgeon
