This is my first completed Britmodeller Group Build model, and may well be the last 1/72 jet I build. At least for some time. The build was frustrating, and my ever aging eyes are having trouble achieving in 1/72 what I do with relative ease in 1/48. Dangit, I used to love this scale. Maybe this was just an annoying kit. Regardless, I'm glad its done.

June 5, 2016 edit. I've decide to replace the over-exposed bland photos with a better set taken outdoors.

The plan was to build the Harrier firing rockets from the classic 80's poster.

I used the new 1/72 Airfix GR3, Eduard zoom, Freightdogs corrected fin & Pavla gun pods.

All brush painted using good ol Humbrol enamels & weathered with Ammo Black night panel wash & Tamiya weathering sets.

May I introduce Sqn Ldr Tes Tickle rolling in on the range
