mirageiv
Anyone who is thinking of Starfighters here are links for a fairly comprehensive -G model cockpit and airframe walk around. Cockpit: http://walkarounds.scalemodels.ru/v/walkarounds/avia/after_1950/f-104g_germany/?g2_page=1 -104G airframe : http://www.sbap.be/aircraft/f104g/f104g.htm http://www.aircraftwalkarounds.be/Images/Hubert%20F-104G%20Details%201/index_2.html Of corse there are loads out there but I have been using them on a recent build and found them particularly helpful so thought may as well share! Right you! Any last requests? Nah, everyone loves a bargain, at least you didn't post a link to That Damned Book.
RMP2
Hmmm, last requests you say? Yes. Lots. But Im suspecting Id best not go there. Yep, I saved around £9 earlier on three purchases of resin weapon stuff. I say saved... what I mean is I didnt pay an extra £9... What is this book you speak of? It seems intriguing, maybe even GB sourcing? Perhaps I should request a read as a last request? Or......... maybe.......... not..............?

RMP2
For Russian aircraft (big and small) in Germany, this is a nice little site that covers some movements, deployments, tactics and weapons as well as nice orderly photos of individual aircraft and some anecdotal stories - its got it all! http://www.16va.be/sitemap.html
RMP2
For the OEZ/KoPro/Eduard 1/48 Su-25, theres a nice walk-through build guide here, covering pitfalls, fixes etc. http://web.ipmsusa3.org/content/su-25k-frogfoot
RMP2
I got wondering about Remove Before Flight tags for Russian aircraft, seems they dont use RBFs as such, but this thread cleared it all up for me: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234958350-remove-before-flight-for-russian-aircrafts/ Also - Hannants have "Soviet Chocks" in 3 different styles in stock for £3 a set. Its the little things that make big ugly feckers look good.
smuts
Hi guys, were the MiG's that carried the three colour camo factory applied or sprayed in situ on the Base? Andy
RMP2
Hi guys, were the MiG's that carried the three colour camo factory applied or sprayed in situ on the Base? Andy Judging by the state of some of them Id say a bit of both.
RMP2
Su-25 load out options. Basically no more than two types/weights of air-ground weapons can be carried (other than on the UB(K), UTG and T/TM versions) due to the targeting computers limit of 2 ballistics programs in the A and K versions at least. I think Ive got that right! With the exception of the gun pods it seems which can be used with rockets and bombs... no idea why, but the chart below was compiled with the help of Harvy on here, so I have no reason to doubt it at all.
