Tripod
There's another 1/72 plastic kit that was issued by Kellogg's, I believe. Not the same as the Airfix and Frog kits, it had the canopy framework moulded into the fuselage halves.
steelpillow
Ah yes, Nice wing mouldings but clumsy undercarriage as I recall. I don't know if anybody ever discovered who had manufactured it. Scalemates also mention the 1:72 white metal kit by C.A.Atkins, which is new to me: https://www.scalemates.com/search-solr.php?fkSECTION[0]=Kits&q=De+Havilland+DH+88+Comet
The wooksta V2.0
I asked the question a few months back in this thread. http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234991675-dh88-comet-racer-tooling-question/?hl=%2Bcomet+%2Bracer I've all three of the 72nd injection kits although I've yet to put scalpel to plastic. I quite like the Frog kit by the look of it.

I quite like the Frog kit by the look of it. That suggests that KeilKraft made the kit for Kelloggs, apparently based on a claim that they made the Sea King kit and therefore probably all the others. I wonder how much truth there is behind it.
