ReccePhreak
Does Tamiya (or anybody else) make a 1/48 J1N1 Gekko that includes the rear "fairing" in clear, as in the following profiles? http://img.wp.scn.ru/camms/ar/1196/pics/65_21.jpg http://img.wp.scn.ru/camms/ar/1196/pics/65_28.jpg http://img.wp.scn.ru/camms/ar/1196/pics/65_29.jpg I want to do a J1N1-C recce version, and they all had the rear clear canopy. http://www.wardrawings.be/WW2/Images/2-Airplanes/Axis/3-Japan/05-Reconnaissance/J1N1-C/p1.jpg Larry lengesath(AT)cox(DOT)net Edited April 8, 2016 by ReccePhreak
Nick Millman
You would need to look for Tamiya's 'Nakajima Night Fighter Gekko Type 11 Early Production Irving' and backdate it from the night fighting modifications. Don't think there is another one. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/114125-tamiya-61084-nakajima-j1n1-s-gekko-early You can see the instructions and a built-up version to get an idea of what the kit provides here:- https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10025360 Nick

I may have to look for a Fujimi 1/72 N1K1-C or N1K1-R Gekko kit, even though it's not my preferred scale. Thanks for the info.
