camper1
Hi Folks A few recent completions,I had been working on the CA kits when Airfix surprised me with the release of their Meteor. All are finished in High Speed Silver from Xtracolor with decals from the available Xtradecal sheet. tonyot
They are all beauties Ian,......well done mate!! The Airfix kit looks spectacular and the canopy looks fine to me! Better than the CA kit to be honest. Cheers Tony
Silver Fox
They are excellent and you are a braver man than me to go with the HSS finish on a Classic Airframes kit!
AnonymousAA72
Some fine Meat-boxes there...nice! I have a couple of CA Meteors in the stash, and whereas the airfix kit is superior in all areas, the CA kits are still build able. The worst part I found are the intakes....luckily Airfix's kit Has both narrow, and wide breather intake nacelles, which should help fix that problem...oh, and the undercarriage, but I understand that John Adams is working on white metal replacements which will be very handy..... Mr Modeller
Fabulous meatboxes sir and I have to say that I think the new Airfix kit definitely has a slight edge over the CA kit - well done, nice builds!!
