Interesting and unusual choice. Interesting because a reengined version will be the next Italian Air Force basic trainer and the future mount of the Frecce Tricolori team.

Unusual because the M.311 designation was used for a short period before the type was redesigned M.345. With this designation the prototype has participated to a number of aviation shows, lately in Frecce livery
