Red Dot
nice photos and it looks a lot better than the Intrepid museum in New York
RichO
I just found this. Very good photos of the aircraft. I was on board the USS Midway in Tokyo bay in 1980 when it caught on fire. Not good. This just reminded me of that event those many years ago.
canberraman
Great shots Tony. It's a fantastic collection in a most scenic location isn't it. Mark
Tiger331
Nice shots……..well remember my visit to USS Midway just after the Gulf War when she was on a port visit to Hong Kong. Of course, it was the days of low visibility markings everywhere but the vast majority of aircraft had mission markings and even some modest attempts at nose art too. Great trip

Max Headroom
Some lovely shots there. I visited in July 2014 and well remember my wife (non enthusiast) being engrossed by a talk given by a former pilot on catapult take offs in front of the F-4. Someone asked him if he had dropped bombs over North Vietnam. "No madam, Herschey Bars". Trevor
Nobby57
nice photos and it looks a lot better than the Intrepid museum in New York I have to agree especially after taking a special trip to see the Scimitar that once sat on deck...only to find it had been moved ashore. Loved the ship though. Thanks F-32...the Midway has just gone on my bucket list, along with the Alabama even if she's a BB.
