Hi My Friend Vitor Costa:

Without a doubt those two kits were transformed in masterpieces!!!

I liked the versions you have worked and was wondering which decal brand were the ones not in the Airfix kit.

Also likes the way you have done the shadowing and soft weathering and also the overall appeal of each model, and knowing that just for 7 Euros the kit is a bargain :) I am sure the "Magic Touch" you have in your hands for this top class building way is the right ingredient for this nicely done kind of finishing.

Thank you very much for sharing and showing your work encouraging us to build!!!

Cheers from Guatemala,

Luis Alfonso

Really nice builds Vitor, the AK paints have given these a lovely realistic metal finish, they look truly superb for 1/72 kits.

Very neat and decorative Mustangs!

Personally I don't agree with the heavy dark outlining of every minor skin joint on the red tails – even secondary joints that would be virtually invisible on the original seem to be outlined as starkly as the elevator and rudder hinge lines. But that's IMHO… ;-)

Kind regards,

Joachim

A couple of absolute beauties. The finish is superb. I'm not familiar with that paint range but it looks great.

Both are beauties Vitor. I'm building the Airfix Mustang next and I'll be using these as inspiration. Cheers, Dave

For 1/72 scale they look really good, nice nmf, personally l like the way the panels are highlighted, it gives the model a "lift". Well done you!
