After something which represents the thin rope netting on army vehicles and tanks to secure bedrolls knapsacks etc. Any help much appreciated. Colour is not a problem. My mother has been a dressmaker (as a hobby) for years and has a wonderful stock of different fabric scraps which includes various mesh fabrics and nettings. No body seems to stock, not suprised really, the old fashioned netting with just squares. I got some medicated paraffin gauze. Took some getting rid of the paraffin which is gooey. But it is very supple and I think will look OK. Cut out to make larger squares which looks better. Make friends with your local dressmaker! Hmmm think I will stick to nets. LaurieS Posted October 12, 2019 Author Share Posted October 12, 2019 (edited) Should have added. You have to wash out the parrafin. Also for 1/48 cut out intermediate squares.
