eek, a vampire!

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I'm starting this thread for my wife's build.

She will be attempting her first kit, and this seems the ideal time for her to try.

She will be building, with some gentle pointers from me, a dehavilland vampire t11.

I reccomended this kit as it is a skill level 1 and a recent new tooling. Hopefully the build will be fairly problem free.

She will be using the same basic tools as me.

My wife thanks you Darren. She's looking forward to it.

We're taking both if our builds with us on holiday to skegness next week, so should be plenty of updates.

Hopefully she'll not be using the exact same tools as you, or there could be tears. And if you're going to Skegness, you'll have lots of free modelling time, surely? ;)

I'll be watching to see how she manages her T.11, as my youngest brother and myself are doing a pigeon pair of that kit for this GB (if they ever arrive...).

Hello Mrs S5, welcome to the weird plastic world.

Hello Mrs S5 and welcome, Skeggy in March ? take a big coat.

It was a lovely warm morning here in skeg, clear blue skies and 12 degree sunshine.

Shame it's clouded over now (mid afternoon).

Hi chaps.

Posting an update for the wife.

We've had a goid evening, on monday, spent about 3 hours building together.

So far she has built up a majority of the cockpit, completed the jet intake pipes, and assembled the tail booms.
