1:72 Aeroplast TS-11 Iskra Poland

This is the Aeroplast 1:72 kit of the Polish trainer/light attack aircraft TS-11 Iskkra.

This is a basic kit with thinks like see through intakes etc, Although I'm the sort of person who doesn't get too involved with detailling, but I felt I had to at least block off the back end of the intakes with plastic card and filler.

General fit wasn't too bad, but the canopy fit was not good.

Colours used were, overall Humbrol 127 grey and the upper side camo was Humbrol 140 grey and Model Master 2034 grey.

The kit decals went on without any issues.

A tidy wee build & nice job on the camo. The tips about the intakes will be handy when I come to mine, if I remember of course.

The base colour was airbrushed, but the rest of the camo was brush painted, otherwise masking would have been difficult on a small aircraft like this.
