crobinsonh
Well have nearly completed the Y-Wing (just finishing R2-D2) I have started on the Falcon. Again blown away by the detail and its a snap together model! I have started by spraying black Mr Surfacer as a primer and then started using various shades of Gunze Sangyo greys to create an impression of shadows and wear and tear. As with the Y-Wing 95% of the painting is done on the sprues. Not the best of shots using my iPhone with poor light. Will attempt to get better shots on the next status update. crobinsonh
Some more shading on the Falcon. Another session on shading and then I will get down to painting the individual panels the various colours. Such a nice model. I need to get a better photo setup instead of being lazy.

Andy Moore
Great work on the panel shading. It's looking fantastic already, even before the other panel colours go on. Andy

Mindmax
As already said, very very nice painted and the base looks great too! May I ask you which colour do you have used for the white base colour of the falcon? Thank you!
crobinsonh
As already said, very very nice painted and the base looks great too! May I ask you which colour do you have used for the white base colour of the falcon? Thank you! I used a succession of Gunze Sangyo paints with the final colour being H21 off white. They spray beautifully if you have not used them before. Hope this is useful.
