Angus Tura
Hello. I'd like to add this Dragon Churchill III to this thread: It is a very nice little kit and, as it portrays on of the Churchills coming out of the surf at Dieppe, I don't think it needs any additions: very important to a serial non-finisher like me. Here are some sprue pictures: As you can see I've taken a few things off the sprues: These are the bits. I've assembled the sides and floor of the hull and glued the wading gear for the air-intakes together. These latter have some pretty annoying joint lines. The slide-moulding of the barrel leads to a hole just under the muzzle brake that I've filled with a bit of sprue. I hope this doesn't break the 25% rule. Thanks Alan Edited March 7, 2016 by Angus Tura
Col.
Welcome to the GB Alan. From what I can see you're well within the 25% limit here so please continue Another British AFV will always be welcome.
Shermaniac
Welcome aboard Alan. The Churchill will be a classic build methinks
PlaStix
Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one. I've made a couple of 1/72 Dragon AFV kits and they have mostly been fun to build - only one had a few fit issues. Good luck with yours. Angus Tura
Thank you for comments on this. I'm afraid it's stalled because of work pressures. Yet another KUTA...
