AnonymousDFB1
I needed a base for my recently completed 1:32 Bf 109G-10. Having an old plain base of a suitable size I decided to make it look authentic for late 1944 - Early 1945 So with some Coffee Stirring sticks from Macy D's and some Citadel grass Scatter, plus a few washes and pigments, I cam up with this: And with the 109 on it Technically it's not finished yes as I still have a figure to paint and add but here is what it should look like Thanks for looking.

Badder
Lovely looking aircraft that. And a neat little vignette. The figure looks the business too, with a life-like pose. Now get it painted! Regards, Badder.
AnonymousDFB1
Thanks all, Sadly there are only so many hours for model making per week. Concentration on having models ready for the East of England Show next Sunday.

sean
Very nice looking base Mish, and the 109 is excellent as well. That base wouldn't be 6x6 by any chance? Sean
AnonymousDFB1
Thanks Guys, Sean the base is about 8" x 8" You can't quite fit a 'normal' sizes WWII fighter in 1:32 on 6" x 6" But I'm sure some there is some there is something that would work. Suprastar3000
I really like that. Just wish my warbirds look as good as your 109. Heres my effort at a similar style hard standing area Edited February 29, 2016 by Suprastar3000

However his figures and service are second to none.
