Ryan Hothersall
The 1:72 Su-25UB kit from MSV Moldova, which I understand is a rebox of the Cooperativa kit, in Armenian markings.Build wasn't too bad, and like many of these types of kit, the bigger parts fit ok, but smaller parts were a bit of a challenge, likr rmgine parts etc were too small for the hole etc.Colours used were model master 2048 blue on the underside, on the top side, model master 2120 grey, model master 2035 grey and model master 1710 green.Decals used were Linden Hill Post Soviet Air Forces Series.Decal sheetBuild photosSu-25UB-67 by Ryan Hothersall, on FlickrSu-25UB-68 by Ryan Hothersall, on FlickrSu-25UB-69 by Ryan Hothersall, on FlickrSu-25UB-70 by Ryan Hothersall, on FlickrSu-25UB-71 by Ryan Hothersall, on Flickr
Synopsis
I do like a Frogfoot! To me they always looked like they could take as much of a pounding as they give out. Great to see a lesser represented operator of the aircraft too. Good stuff!
adrianm2
It must be the first Frogfoot two seater I see built. I had that kit, under the brand name of Aermoldova... I sold it, never built it... Your look good in those unusual markings. Adrian
Snorry
Nice choce of subject! I like exotic markings and multicolour camos, and Armenian are such ones. I still have this kit bought in 1990s for I could not rid of it by selling. It means I have to build it. Killingholme
Wow, they really went to town when choosing the colours for their roundels didn't they?
glatisant
Very nice and colourful.I think I will have to consider getting one for myself to go with the single-seaters.Excellent inspiration.
