The Vickers VC10 was a long range British airliner whose longest operator would be the Royal Air Force. The C.1 variant was first delivered to the RAF from July 1966. It would fulfil the role of transporting military personnel and VIPs around the world. As and when required it would could also perform Aero-medical Evacuation duties. From 1991 to 1996 Flight Refuelling converted the C.1s to C.1K standard which enabled them to operate in the air to air refuelling role.
RAM Models 1/72nd scale Vickers VC10 kit contains two moulded styrene sheets (vacform), clear moulding for the cockpit cover, white metal undercarriage legs and wheels, decals printed by Fantasy Printshop. Length 67.16cm, Span 61.87cm.

Excellent choice of subject and long overdue in this scale. I hope it sells well. Unfortunately, much as I would love a 1/72 VC-10, I do not and never have liked vac forms so, regrettably I will not be buying this kit.

My understanding is that RAM have long stopped trading.

Ah that would explain it then, and why the website is no longer.  Their decals still seem to be around a plenty , probably just ld stock that is now coming to market buy retailers.
