1960 AMT Ford Starliner

Completed this one a few years back. Don't remember what was the color of the body but it was from Dupli-Color. Top is Tamiya Pearl White. White walls are resin from Modelhaus and rims were sourced from another kit.

Never get enough of mid 50s to 1970 American cars. This is really good. I'm with Keith #2 ,the paint is lovely. Love the mild custom job,side pipes set off well.You can see where the 1962 Ford (UK) Consul Capri came from, a bit smaller though.

That is truly beautiful - your model car looks stunning.

I normally build aircraft but would like to try a model car kit just for a bit of a change. Problem is, I brush paint. Are the spray can model paints any good for a model car?

Of course the spray can paints are good for this. Make sure to stick with the hobby paints and once you master them then you can opt for the various other paints.
