Richard E
Yes, definitely looks like a Sherman should - is this one going onto a display base or into a diorama? Already looking forward to a Jagdtiger receiving the usual Dan treatment !
Gremlin56
No doubt possible here
Dads203
Cheers guys, Thinking of a simple base to show the tank off, nothing complex, just enough to set things off. Dan

Dads203
Cheers guys, Well today has been one of those days, about 90% of what I touched today whilst modelling has turned to a big pile of Poo, dunno why just one of those off days. Don't get too excited about this update. So...... Jerry cans .. resprayed, really cocked them up at the last stage.. child like error, don't ask ! .50 cal ammo cans .. resprayed, Archer decal fight.. they won ! Civi POL can ..stripped and awaiting re prime, simple chipping fluid task which completely fell apart. PE Bino neck strap.... Carpet monster struck... Aaaghhh Just been silly, a lot of what I consider basic stuff just turned into a disaster today so now I'm on the red vino and work has stopped. So the things that I did get done to an acceptable standard. Crew now glued in, Commanders bino's done.. but not as I would of liked, the lens idea didn't work to how I imagined.. Ohh well. Spare wheel ... finished Photo's Hopefully a more productive day tomorrow so I can get this one into the final stages of the build. Cheers for looking in, hope fully tomorrow a better photographic update Dan
Gremlin56
These things happen. I screwed up the camo on a Binbrook Lightning a few years ago and had to strip the whole aircraft down with meths so as I could make a second try. Irritating but not the end of the world
Wogga
Sounds like a normal day here :-) I spent an hour yesterday putting some slap on a Hornet head, which has now disappeared. Did an amputation and molded a new arm, it fell off!
Widow 65
Peaks and troughs mate, admittedly your peaks far outweigh any trough that does occur.... Coming along a real treat this one (like everyone you build!)
PlaStix
As the others have said; we all have days like that! But, by the look of things, it's progressing beautifully.
Dads203
Small update on turret stowage, The M1936 canvas field bag, painted up and weathered, I found the US decals on a sheet from Passion Models but they only give you 4 ! It's a nice detail often overlooked, they still need flat varnish applying. Decals are still drying Dan

Dads203
Cheers Francis, Chuffed that you are enjoying the build so far mate. So the little red petrol can, its almost ready, just making up here for lost ground from yesterday as most things didn't work out. I think you'll agree that it adds a little colour. Cheers Dan

Dads203
Thank you guys Just playing with the base or being lazy, I won't use this as the base is to small to see the unit flash. Good idea but poorly executed Better get back to finishing off the weathering. Dan
