AndyGlov Posted February 15, 2016 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Hi all. Noob here I am just starting the above kit, the one with the scorpion turret. BUT have lost the 76mm white metal gun barrel. I have tried various sites looking for a replacement but no luck Does anyone know a manufacturer out there. It's the same barrel as used in the Saladin. Rob G Posted February 16, 2016 Share Posted February 16, 2016 On my scratchbuilt Tamiya-based M-113 FSV build I used a length of brass tube for the gun, as the gun in the Saladin turret that I had was pretty ugly, given that the turret came from the very old Tamiya Saladin kit. I can't access it right now (away from home for work), but if it helps I'll measure it up and let you know what I used. The same gun was used in the MRV, which is the vehicle that you have (AFV Club got the name wrong.) In one of 'those' turns of fate, I actually had the MRV kit until a couple of weeks ago, when I sold it... I can ask the bloke who bought it to measure it and give me the dimensions.
