the tail is actually the decals from the zvezda 767 kit as the 777 ones i bought were pretty awful . ive also used others like the red stripe - you can see were the existing 767 door was meant to be, im going to try a bit of magic on this area to cover it up. the 777 decals supplied were ok on light coloured surfaces but are transparent on the blue surface - not good!

the red stripe on the engine is also pinched off the 767, obviously the original decal was too small

man this is looking amazing. I am looking forward to building mine one day. God I hope it comes out as nicely as this - you've done an amazing job so far

thanks! its a good kit so its quite hard to spoil, i ran the risk of over-spraying and losing detail at one stage but particularly the metallic area on the fuselage has enhanced the details

all decals are on the fuselage now - all windows and doors etc. I've limited the amount of transfers as half of them are really not necessary and seems to clutter the model. the stripes separating the blue base from the silver fuselage are more orange than red but they (from the 767 kit) are high quality transfers compared to the 777 ones i purchased from PAS decals

Some decent progress on the wings although I'm not ready to fit them into position yet so Ive just propped the fuselage on top for a preview

the rest of the empennage on - one stab has the decal on it, now sure if I think its necessary ....

Decalling looks great Phil, though I agree with Jessica, I am not game to use any Zvezda supplied decals.

On inspection of a couple of PAS sheets I have ( have not used them yet) they look a lot nicer than any Zvezda kit decals.

this must be an exception!!! i must admit I've only the decal sheet from the 767 zvezda as evidence - the PAS aeroflot 777 decals look great but they came with a white background sheet to go under as they were virtually transparent...and the results were poor
