Thanks, not finished yet though, still got lots of bits to touch up and colours to add! Just building up the courage to do the pink sealant around the canopy. Muzz Posted April 19, 2016 Author Share Posted April 19, 2016 Yes the inserts are in Martin, the joint broke cleanly where the wheel bogey joins the main gear leg. I think my youngest son managed to get to it and caused the damage. I've had to repair it twice and it now sits with the nose gear of the ground, it should be fine if I get some more nose weight in it as the main gear has enough flex .............I think! 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Muzz Posted April 25, 2016 Author Share Posted April 25, 2016 So finally another update, another small disaster after i didn't learn from my first one, thought I had placed the kit out of harms way but my youngest attacked it again last week and caused further damage It's taken me a few days to want to go near it again but everything that's come off has been recovered and it's all fixable. Here's where I'm at (you'll note the damaged undercarriage which is awaiting repair). Missiles and pylons on, I'm planning on adding a couple of R-60's to the outer pylons, the adapters have been sprayed with Mr Metal Coat Steel. I've also added the IR sensor below the nose, some scratch plastic strips added for detail. Hopefully some new parts arriving for the undercarriage soon and will be adding the dreaded pink sealant next! 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was waiting for the Mig-25 release since that subject interests me more, but after reading all the positive reviews of this kit and the outstanding support given by Martin, I just went out and bought this kit today. Also, who makes seatbelts for the Mig-31? I know Eduard has them in their set, but I don't need all the the things they include in their set. Was looking for seatbelts only.
