RF-84F Thunderflash, TANMODEL, Brandnew!

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

here my build of the brandnew Tanmodel RF-84F Thunderflash in 1:48. Pretty good model with high detailed parts. Build is OOB, just used the Daco Decal sheet for BAF RF-84F. Hope you like it!

Very nice build and finish. You were quick of the mark with that one. :goodjob:

Can we have info on paints etc.?

Used Gunze Acrylics and paint it in common SEA camoflage. Weathring was done with post-shading and some different oil colours.

Very nice work

Any issues?

I show somewhere that it is not easy to install the nose gear bay as it clashes with the fwd bulkhead?

Did you use kit decals? How did they behave?

no issues at all, for me one of the best models I build in the last time - just great! Because I would like to have a SEA Belgian one I used the DACO Dacal sheet for RF-84F, wich I had still in stock.

Mathy ,

this is another amzing model wich put a smile in my face, because I am just looking for an accetable RF-84 as BW -version. Didn`t know this kit until today. So this seems to be very nice!! Thx for sharing.

Brilliant job, well done!

Glad to hear you didn't have any issues making the kit as I've one of these taunting me to make it when I get some modelling time.

I'm not really a fan of SEA camouflage (mine will be in the Dark Green/Dark Sea Grey/PRU Blue scheme), however, that looks really smashing

Great, great job……just goes to show that there are some kits out there that really do not need any aftermarket to enhance them…..superb build and, as others have said, a rather different scheme.

NICE job….Well Done Sir !

That was quick considering it's just been out!

no issues at all, for me one of the best models I build in the last time

Great news.

A lot to look at, in terms of detail and finish, but it adds up to a simply superb result.
