thepureness
Hi everyone I've got some spare time for some building before I start my next big build of the year in the helicopter GB So i'm going to face one of my biggest fears which is German splinter camo, I've always been intimidated with splinter camo as I've never really managed to find suitable paints in my favorite brand of acrylic paints, but with some assistance I've managed to get conversions for Tamiya acrylics so here goes. Here is the new tooled airfix Stuka, I'm aiming for a quick build oob I'm going to go for the Spainish civil war aircraft on this one, wish me luck
Winenut
Good luck with the build. I'm sure you'll do a fine splinter camo with your paint research Cheers

thepureness
So, I've made a little start today. With me, i'm not one of those to go crazy with detail in 1/72 scale kits, unless it has a glaring obvious interior that needs spicing up, a He 111 for example with all that interior visible. With this, i'm just going basic and going to focus mainly on getting the exterior spot on. As you can see here with the assembled interior, if someone wanted to go gung-ho there is plenty of scope. I've just stuck with the German gray interior, might not be the perfect shade.
Duncan B
I've got this one in the stash and it's near the top of the 'to do' list so will be interested to see how it goes together. I also bought the Zvezda 'snap together' Stuka at the same time and was planning on doing a back to back build but in a moment of (Man Flu induced) madness I've made a start to that instead! vppelt68
I´ll take a few 65/70/71 splinters any day before one 74/75/76 mottling! Oh but I´m using sticks with hairy ends... Good luck with your build! Will with interest! Regards, V-P
k5054nz
Great start! I'm not a fan of the Spanish-schemes Stukas but as I'm a fan of the type I can't help but want to follow your build.
Brandy
I just added this one to my stash, it looks like a great kit - certainly a HUGE improvement on the old one, which I built using the 1:24 kit as a reference for detailing. I'll be paying attention to this for any "gotchas". Ian
Learstang
I'll probably buy one of these to also do the Spanish Civil War scheme so I'll be watching this with interest. Good luck! Regards, Jason
