Lancbuilder219
Very nice. How long did it take? Certainly looks like it took a good few days.

Sean_M
Very nice. How long did it take? Certainly looks like it took a good few days. I started it late in the BoB Group build. Its not a complicated kit and went together easily. Its a 2010 release (I think) This when AIrfix started stepping up to the mark. I worked on it "As and When". I reckon you can do it in about a week of evening. I know people say "weekend" but I like to let my coats of future cure properly. The decals are painful .There are over 40. I always hope that I get the weathering balance right. Too much or too little? I did spend a lot of time looking at pics of this aircraft and it change lot during the middle and end of 1940. Simon382
Looks very good indeed! Espcially good as I'm very interested in JG26 having read (again!) their war diary. It comes in two volumes. If you can get hold of them they give some great backgrounds to various builds. They are also a very good read if not rather sad on occasion with a literally day by day account of the squadron. Keep up the good work

Andy Dyck
A great replica from the Generals`s 109. Weatherings is nice, good balanced. I can smell his cigar out of the cockpit too! Andy

Spitfire31
Very good looking Emil! I think the weathering looks excellent, although you might suspect that the erks would have worked extra to keep the Geschwader Ops officer's mount as clean as possible – who knew when the Reichsmarschall would pop in for a visit? ;-) Of course, this wasn't a General's Bf 109 – Galland was a Major at this time, IIRC. Very convincing modelling! Kind regards, Joachim
Winenut
Top effort Very authentic 109. Congratulations...top finish and weathering. But 40 decals......easy! Try the Airfix 1/72 Eurofighter Typhoon..... I reckon it had 200+ microscopic damn things lol! Cheers Bruce
