Hi Guys n Gals,

I see that Heller are to re-release their 1/8th scale Yamaha TY125, in the 3rd quarter of 2016 and wonder if any of our clan have built this kit in it's original form?

As soon as it's out, I'll be buying one for sure!

Well just a note to say I bought one this very morning, looking forward to exploring the inside of the box, I have several large scale motorcycle kits and I've always thought that they make such positive "recreational kits" ... I always seem to relax and enjoy them more, there doesn't seem to be the angst involved like a lot of my other builds; - not that I don't enjoy those of course.

Such a shame there seems to be a lack of threads on the subject - I might have to start one?

I did build it years ago, but have no idea where it ended up!

My first bike was a TY50, loved it to death and always wanted the TY125.

I had one delivered a few days ago that I bought on eBay, a nice kit and unlike the other Heller reissued bike's, it's in a suitably small box.

I used a few parts from one of these for my Hillclimber , the rims were recast in metal and the kit tires were needed as knobbys are scarce in that scale.
