Borez
OK, time to consult Britmodellers massive throbbing brain once more. So... this is concerning Gulf blue Zero Paint, 2k and decals on my GT40 MK11. Is it best to: 1. Apply the decals straight onto the Zero paint and then 2k. 2. Apply a coat/s of 2k over the paint, decal and then fully 2K. ( and if so what's the best method for this? ) 3. non of the above, you're missing the obvious you stupid numpty. 4. Phone a friend. All answers on a postcard to... I kid. So yeah, can anyone help me with my dilemma? Thanks in advance.
shood23
Zeros paint is different for everyone but the basic is primer, base coat (gulf blue), few mist coat of clear, decals then more clear That's my way but others may just put decals on the blue without clear Shaun
imster
Number 2: No need to go thick with the first coat of 2k clear either, just a light single coat then decals, then your final 2K clearcoats

Borez
Gulf Blue done. I must admit I'm blown away with the results from this new AB, it's just super smooth with the paint. Wish I'd had it for the C9.
