Hmm....

 

A+V already have their rendering of this type.  Issued in back in 2003 it was one of their first kits.  It's a simple thing that seems well enough rendered.  

 

Musa isn't in the habit of duplicating subjects already handled by others.  This, unless the competitor's products are either long off the market or are otherwise in need of improvement.  His La-5, for instance, was released as he found none of the La-5 kits then on the market - of which there are plenty - really captured the shape and details of the Lavochkin in an accurate way.

 

So, for him to release this means he figures it'll be enough of an improvement over that A+V kit to be worth it.
